1st Annual Lone Star Drone Rodeo

This 3 day Search and Rescue drone challenge was built to discover how to seamlessly integrate current aerial technology into existing Search and Rescue operations for real life deployment.

Each drone team will tasked with working on a real life search and rescue mission performed by a member from a Professional Search and Rescue Team. Each drone team will have no prior knowledge of the mission or the site and will need to work with their SORT instructor. Once the deliverables are announced, each team will have a set amount of time to perform their task and deliver the final product.

Located in the heart of Texas, the Cantrell Buzbee Ranch LP will play the perfect location to conduct a 3 day search and rescue challenge. With over 1400 acres to utilize, we will be able to run dozens of real life search and rescue scenarios to test drone teams skills and operations.

Search One Rescue Team is a volunteer non profit organization founded in 1983 by Paul Lake. The team was incorporated in the State of Texas in 1985 as a Non-Profit Community Service Organization.
