Cajun Blackened Catfish is a quick and easy, healthy, delicious, spicy Cajun seafood dish that makes an excellent weeknight supper or Mardi Gras party dish

  • 4 4-ounce or 2 (8-ounce) catfish fillets

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Blackening seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Juice of one lemon about 2 - 3 tablespoons

  1. Sprinkle catfish with the Cajun Blackening Seasoning.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. When the pan is hot, add the catfish and cook for about 5 minutes.

  4. Turn each fillet and cook for about 5 minutes more.

  5. If cooking larger fillets, cooking time may take a little longer.
